The normal retail is $89.00 but through this special promotion they are only $70 with part of the proceeds going directly to local conservation efforts.
Order now for a June 5 pick up in Boone from at Watauga County Agricultural Conference Center, 252 Poplar Grove Rd., Boone, NC 28607. Times to be announced on program web site. Quantities are limited.
“It’s a great way to help save a precious natural resource, water” says Wendy Patoprsty.
The rain barrel captures rainwater from roof-tops by connecting to the homes downspout. This water would typically be sent down the storm drain carrying potential contaminants and contributing to flash flooding. The cumulative effect of rain barrels implemented throughout a geographic area can have a significant impact on storm water management and water quality. Water collected by the rain barrels can be used for gardens, lawns, and wash cars and pets.
